Fight the Autumn Blues with Everyday Active

Fight the autumn blues, stay Everyday Active

Don't let the darker, colder months put you off keeping fit and well says Three Rivers District Council; battle the blues with the new Autumn/Winter Everyday Active activities programme.
Activities are wide ranging, including Movement to Music gentle exercise sessions and Pilates classes, which will both help residents to stay healthy and supple. Other highlights of the new programme include Woodcarving sessions in Chorleywood and Glass Crafts classes in Bedmond. For further details of the many crafts, fitness and general interest activities available, residents can visit the website at
www.threerivers.gov.uk or request a brochure by ringing 01923 779392.
Portfolio Holder for Leisure and Community, Councillor Chris Whately Smith, said:
"The Everyday Active programme has proved very popular with residents and we are delighted to be offering even more new exciting activities this autumn. It is often more difficult to stay active and healthy during the colder months, so why not take up an old hobby or try something new? There really is something for everybody in the new Everyday Active brochure; take a look."

All courses cost £28.00 for eight weeks or £3.50 per session, starting from October 6.

For more information or to book, residents can contact the Leisure department on 01923 779392 or visit
